Why did you join EWB?

I joined EWB my freshman year because I was interested in their cause and their projects around the world. I wanted to become involved and be able to help while gaining something valuable from the experience.

Why have you gotten more involved?

I stayed with EWB because I felt a great sense of community within the organization, where everyone was united for the same reason which was to be able to have a positive impact on the people’s lives.

How has EWB helped you to grow as an individual?

Working with EWB has allowed me to take responsibility of aspects of projects and become a better team member and develop various skills whether they were engineering related or not that will be useful after I graduate. I also had several opportunities to meet with professionals in different fields of engineering and learn from them and their experiences, which helped me make better choices about my education and career.
