Why did you join EWB?

I saw EWB as an organization that would allow me to build on the engineering principles I learned in class and apply them to solve problems that affect people across the globe. There were so many different ways to get involved and the club had such an extensive network of talented and driven individuals that I wanted to get to know.

Why have you gotten more involved?

EWB gives you the unique opportunity of being able to take initiative on projects you are passionate about. And this organization provides you with all the support you need to translate your passion into something more tangible that ultimately would help resolve large, real world issues.

How has EWB helped you to grow as an individual?

EWB has taught me that there is a lot more I can do with my time at Rutgers than just get my degree. I have also learned the importance of leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
